  • Conformity and Certification – certified by an accredited certifying body for standards such as R2, RIOS, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, etc.
  • Legal Requirements – met at every level i.e.; local, state, federal and country including proactive communication with governing entities
  • Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Management Systems – documented global and controlled QEH&S Management System with established communication procedures for compliance; full time EH&S staff in each facility
  • Recordkeeping – readily accessible detailed reports with material tracking at every step in the process
  • On-Site Requirements – processes are documented, personnel are aware of customer requirements, significant aspect control procedures, etc.
  • Due-Diligence Downstream – detailed onsite downstream vendor audits to the end process
  • Exporting – written agreements in place, adhering to laws and abiding by documentary requirements with regard to importing & transport of “materials of concern”
  • Reuse, Repair, and Refurbishment – reusable equipment and components are tested and refurbished to maximize residual value; transfer of equipment for repair/ refurbishment meets export requirements
  • Materials Recovery and Disposal – prohibits toxic materials from being put in landfills or incinerators, including waste-to-energy; has an established and documented recovery and reuse hierarchy to ensure safe and responsible materials management
  • Transport – meets all regulatory requirements
  • Insurances – company is adequately insured for General Liability and Environmental Liability
  • Closure Plan and Financial Responsibility – written and funded closure plan, company is financially secure, insurance policies in place
  • Data Destruction – provides certified data destruction of proprietary and confidential information to NIST Standard 800-88
  • Facility Security – video surveillance, secure storage, background checks on employees, Non-Disclosure Agreements for visitors, Confidentiality / Non-Compete Agreements for employees
  • Transparency – facilities are available for EH&S audits at all times, with or without notice
  • Worker Health and Safety – conducts extensive training and awareness programs with follow-up comprehension testing
