Questions to ask

When seeking a recycler for scrap electronics:

What happens to the electronic equipment they accept?

What fee do they charge?

How are cathode ray tubes (CRTs) and circuit boards handled?

Does the company have contracts with smelters or hazardous waste facilities?

Can they provide certification that explains the disposition of the equipment and its parts?

If they cannot provide certification, do they have references you can contact?
