Precious Metal Refining
Technology Conservation Group offers competitive refining based on the volume processed. Precious metal bearing material is purchased, processed, and refined per our agreement with a primary smelter.
End-of-Life Electronics Management
Disposition of all grades of scrap electronics which typically includes transportation, processing, and final disposition. Although many items are processed on a price/pound basis, we are committed to providing the tools and information to maximize our customers’ profitability. All downstream vendors have been pre-qualified and approved through our Environmental Health & Safety Department.
Remarketing/Reuse
Items are identified, removed, tested, inventoried, and sold from our remarketing operation. This may include, but not be limited to, monitors, memory chips, resistors, and test equipment. A Certificate of Recycling is available upon request.
Destruction
As requested, Technology Conservation Group will destroy any and all items identified by the customer and provide a Certificate of Destruction for a shipment and/or specific parts.
Information Destruction
Technology Conservation Group has applied for and become a member of NAID (National Association of Information Destruction). NAID is an international, non-profit trade association of the information destruction industry. Its members are companies and individuals involved in providing information destruction services. NAID’s mission is to educate business, industry and government of the importance of destroying discarded information and the value of contract destruction services. We will be seeking third party certification of our process in 2010. NAID has the only accepted third-party security certification program for information destruction operations. A Certificate of Information Destruction is available upon request.
TCG recognizes that security and confidentiality are important. Procedures for handling all proprietary equipment or components include the following:
- 24-hour monitoring of entire facility
- Thorough documentation of the steps involved with the recycling process including:
- 1. Tracking of each shipment from the time of receipt
- 2. Detailed reports of products received, recycled, or destroyed.
- 3. Certificates of destruction (COD) or Certificates of Recycling (COR)
